Tournament Highlights

Entry Fee: $75 per Angler

     Registered Scouts may participate for a fee of $40.

          Great prizes in both the adult and youth divisions.

Trophies for the first three places in both adult and youth divisions.

          All anglers must have a digital camera and bring it to the captain's meeting. The first photo on your card will be taken at the meeting.

There will be plenty of fun and great food served at the Captain's Meeting which is mandatory for all registered anglers. This meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 16 at the Southwest Florida Council Conference Center, 1801 Boy Scout Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33907.

Anglers will then launch from any location at first safe light on Saturday, May 17.

Lines must be out of the water by 4:00 p.m., and scorecards and camera memory cards returned to the Lovers Key location by 5:00 p.m. All memory card photos will be loaded onto the tournament score keeper's computer, and the scorecards verified from the photos.

Dinner and the awarding of prizes will begin no later than 5:30 p.m. at the site near Lovers Key State Park, on the east side of Estero Boulevard, just north of the public boat ramp, 8700 Estero Boulevard, Fort Myers Beach, FL

Kayak Excursions will rent a rigged kayak for $40 per day, with $25 of each rental going to support the tournament. The kayaks will be delivered to the captain's meeting, and can be returned at the awards dinner. Contact Stefan at Kayak Excursions; 239 297-7011, or email Stefan@kayak-excursions.com.

All anglers will need to have a digital camera to record their catch, and they must bring the memory card and camera to the Captain's Meeting. The card should be empty, and a photo will need to be taken at the dinner on Friday night. Upon your check-in to the scorekeeper's table before 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, the images on your card will be downloaded onto the tournament computer to verify your scorecard. Please use care in taking the photos, and show the entire fish and the ruler with the measurements. We should be able to read almost any standard memory card, but if you have a USB cable for your camera, please bring it with you.
